Great location. Pool was wonderful, also close to the river. Playground was disappointing, horseshoe pits were non existent as was the volleyball nets. As there's no grass area there's a lot of dirt and dust therefore this got tracked into the washroom floors.
Great time was had by all who were there. Luck of the draw as for who else is there. Was great after the first weekend
Love this campground, great for families. Tent sites and clean and nicely spaced. Shower and toilets are decent too. I come back every year!!!
Went there for may long weekend. Pool was still under repair and campsite was quite empty for beginning of the season couldnt imagine pulling in and out of there with my 24 ft trailer when the place is busy very tight camping. Overall its on the river with a great swim spot but the playground for the kids is old basic and really needs to be upgraded I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old having a good playground when camping is a big deal for our family and they could define tall use a new play set. Rather then be at the rv park we spent our days at Rathtrevor beach which is super close.
Campsites are super close together. I dont mind i like the social aspect. If you are looking for quiet and secluded this is not for you. Lots of kids running around
