Sorry, you say you will accept well-behaved pets but you want to charge $10 more ($25 total) for my Labrador Retriever Just because she is over 15 lbs. she is just as well behaved as a small dog can be, and quieter than many small dogs I have encountered over the years. You lost our business.
Loved the resort, friendly helpful staff. Came for my mother in laws 90th birthday. Stayed in a cabin. It had everything we needed. Clean. Only complaint is why not upgrade your mattresses? I would of gave 5 stars but it felt like we slept on a little softer version of a box spring.
Full service lots for your RV. Cabins are also available as well as Park model trailers. Rates are reasonable. There is WiFi but it is very slow. There are public washrooms with showers. There is also coin laundry if you need it. There are lots for tenting as well as small trailers. There are quite a few large lots if you have a big RV. The best part is the river. Great for swimming with a good amount of Sandy Beach.
The campsite itself was Great(we stayed in a full service site). The overall camp itself was very quiet. Nice playground for Kids. There is an amazing river that is deep but slow flowing.. Very cold water but swim able. Bring float devices to float down river. Liquor store down the road (gotta drive). All in all good. You got your 4 out of 5 starts here.. You lost one below. The bathroom were old and outdated and inadequate unfortunatly. The men's urinal was out of service for days which means only 2 stalls left. Dangerous step when you come out of the toilet. You gotta pay to take a shower (like really?). The lights were all broken and flickered. Tip to owners.... Put some money into upgrading bathrooms. People might choose you again next year because you have the best amenities. Ice was also 3 bucks a bag which is the convenience of just walking to the office.
Riverbend was an excellent place to stay. The yurt we stayed in was comfy and cozy. The area is safe and very clean. We only wish we stayed longer. We will be back next summer for sure!
