Stayed June of 2016, 2017 and just booked for 2018. Quiet, clean and extremely comfortable! Older building but well maintained, great coffee shop across the street and a short drive into downtown Parksville.

Booked my room a month in advance, by the time I had gotten there John and his wife (sorry we never got to meet) had upgraded us to a room with a kitchen at no charge. Clean room, comfy bed, large room and very accommodating. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
Great hotel, wonderful owners. We were very happy with our stay. Much more affordable option for weddings at the nearby resorts which are walking distance (though not full sidewalk). Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
Very attractive, comfortable, clean and quiet. The only issue we had was that the door of the room did not have a chain or bolt that one could secure from the inside. Our 2-year old toddler was able to open the door and go outside into the parking lot on his own, so we ended up stacking our luggage behind the door overnight, so we could be sure he wouldn't escape. Aircon could be better. It seems that their website is out of date, as the rates are different than as charged, and they do offer wifi, contrary to their website. Recommendable!
