I had the Mexican English Muffin Breakfast sandwich with a side salad. The muffin flavours were complex and so delicious. The service was fantastic. I highly recommend making a reservation. There is a large table to accomdate bigger parties. In the summer it is warm inside so get there early!
My favorite place in town. The food is always amazing, and I'm fairly certain the guy who owns the place (who is also the head chef) is some sort of giant, bearded demigod of food. Local beers, the best food...what more could you ask for? Plenty of variety in flavours (everything from a Reuben sandwich that's made with in-house brisket to a Mexican inspired breakfast sandwich) and a regularly rotating soup and salad of the day, so whatever mood you're in you're bound to find something you like. And trust me, you're gonna want to try a Compost Cookie.
Always love Bread & Honey. Sometimes it's super busy and if I haven't a reservation there might be a long wait. I've never once being disappointed with my food or service here. Food is presented with attention to detail and obvious care for their craft, and the service has always being first rate. Bread and honey is always my first choice for breakfast or brunch hands down. They even accommodated us, with a reservation, for a table of 8 on a busy Sunday morning. It was lovely. One of Parksville's special places.
Janine was the BEST. Tamara was a bully. But we loved the food! Delicious fried chicken sandwich, eggs benny, and the BEST seafood chowder I've ever had!! If you come to Parksville, you gotta eat here. And Tamara was actually lovely. They were trying to get each other in trouble.
Hands down the best place I have ever been for brunch. I had the oatmeal which was so delicious and topped with crispy sugar and apples. I can never see oatmeal the same ever again. My partner's eggs Benedict also looked fantastic. Service was prompt and very lovely! If you get the chance, definitely stop by! I wish I didn't live in Alberta just so I could eat here all the time!
